Constellation was an atmospheric installation of paintings and sound that imagined the southern skies on a cloudless night. Drawing upon the traditional materials and cultural knowledge of indigenous and non-indigenous Australians he produced a body of work that responds to the universe as our familiar home as well as a wondrous spectacle of infinity and cosmic mystery.

Helen Maxwell

Helen Maxwell has worked in the visual arts for over 20 years and the cessation of her gallery is a tragic loss for the Canberra visual arts scene.
